# Retries

> Backoff schedule and how to retrigger failed deliveries.

Failed deliveries (timeouts, non-2xx) are retried automatically:

| Attempt | Delay before next try |
| - | - |
| 1 | 30 seconds |
| 2 | 2 minutes |
| 3 | 10 minutes |
| 4 | 30 minutes |
| 5 | 2 hours |
| 6 | 6 hours |
| 7 | 12 hours |
| 8 | 24 hours (then marked failed) |

Each attempt is listed under **Event Logs**. You can **retrigger** a failed delivery from the dashboard. Admins can pause webhooks globally (`WEBHOOKS_ENABLED`) or per tenant (`webhooks_paused`) during incidents.
